Shiba Inu Hawaii 5th Anniversary
May 31, 2015
Kama’aina K9 Adventures
In honor of our 5th Anniversary, we will be having an event at Kama’aina K9 Adventures on May 31, 2015 from 11 am to 2 pm. Kama’aina K9 Adventures has a special event area that we will be renting for a PRIVATE party. The fee has been covered by the club, but please bring a potluck dish to share. Sign up for the potluck is being coordinated online: here. We are also asking you to bring your own chairs.
But FIRST, you will need to submit vaccine records for your dogs to firstname.lastname@example.org documenting the following information:
1. DHPP (within a year)
2. Bordetella (within a year)
3. And in the interest of the other dogs, we ask that your dog is also current on flea and tick preventative.
**You can also have your vet call Maile at 554-2750 to verify this information if you do not have a paper copy**
Along with this, keep in mind that the general play date rules still apply: http://shibainuhawaii.com/meetups/playdate-rules/
We are asking that you give yourself an additional 15 minutes to get from Kunia road to the venue.
Head down Kunia road towards Wahiawa. About 15 minutes from H1 (past Walmart and housing area but before Kunia Golf Course), make a left when you see the “Lots for Sale” signs. Tell the security guard that you are here for lot 75 and follow the signs for “Kama’aina K9 Adventures” to the facility.
We really hope to see you there! Sorry for the late notice but this opportunity just came up from the Pet Expo ☺ Remember, GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO GET HERE so that you can make the most of this AWESOME opportunity.
UPDATE, 1/9/13: We just got notification from the organizers that Valen-tails has been postponed until June. :-/ We’ll be looking forward to paw-ticipating this summer! 🙂
Get ready for the first doggie-friendly event of 2014! It’s the Valen-tails Family 3K Fun Run & Expo (formerly known as Doggie Date Night). read more…
Looking for a very special home for this guy. He comes from a rescue situation where he was kept outside chained up with 150 other dogs. He is very sweet but high strung and not potty trained. He is good with other dogs and UTD on shots. He needs a special home with someone knowledgeable about working with rescue dogs. He is head strong and potty training will be a challenge. We are looking for someone with a yard and lots of time to spend on him. His name is Hiro. He is a 4 year old, neutered, Shiba Inu mix, about 25 pounds. The family that was fostering him recently suffered a loss and is no longer able to work with him. There will be a minimal rehoming fee. If you are seriously interested, please PM Michelle on Facebook (click here) or call Michelle at 256-0601.
Katsumi Firefox here, Mistress of all Evil Shiba World Domination Plans. I see you have come to find out the answer to a BURNING question, which is what we Firefoxes are here to do. Not because we want to be HELPFUL or anything, but because we understand that as future leaders of the world sometimes questions come up. If we don’t answer these questions then humans will spend all their time trying to ANSWER questions and not spend enough time doing PRODUCTIVE stuff like FEEDING THE SHIBA and FEEDING THE SHIBA.
That is why we created “Ask A Firefox” Friday.
