Maunawili Golf Trail Hike Pictures!
Today we went on Paws on the Path’s Monthly Hike up Maunawili Golf Trail! We had a lot of fun, and in our opinion this hike was much easier than the last one we went on. No Shiba Inu friends this time, but we did have a pug friend, Maka, join us for a little while!…
The search for Copper continues…
Dozens of volunteers have joined forces in Frankfort, Kentucky to find Copper, the Shiba Inu who was mistaken for a Coyote earlier this month. They say that they are highly committed and won’t stop until they find her! The reward is now up to $1750, according to Lex18.com….
Humane Society PetWalk Shiba Inu Hawaii Team!!!
The Humane Society’s Annual PetWalk is being held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 this year at Magic Island. This is one of the Humane Society’s biggest fundraisers, and this year is very special not only because it’s their 20th Anniversary of the PetWalk, but because Shiba Inu Hawaii has started their very own team…!

Last weekend, I had my first Professional Photoshoot! Mommy signed me up for Picture Perfect, a fundraiser for the Humane Society–I got a private photoshoot with Joanne from Island Style Images, and the Humane Society… got a portion of the proceeds!
Microchip Madness ends on TUESDAY!
Throughout August, participating Veterinarians are teamed up with the Hawaiian Humane Society to offer $5 microchipping for dogs! Did you sign up yet? Katsumi’s got her appointment scheduled for next Wednesday! Don’t want to end up like Copper, the Shiba Inu… (NOT a coyote)!

Dear Diary,
I has a friend named Miki. She iz a Cream Shiba Inu, and I met her in the park one day. It was only one of my furst times to the park ever, and she wuz so pretty! I had never seen a dog that looked like me before…except white…so I was really, really, really happy to meet her!!!
Meet Kaia!
Kaia just moved here from New York. She is in quarantine till August, so we hope to see her soon!

PETA… has offered an up to $1,000 reward for any information that leads Copper back to her owner!
“Copper needs to be home with the people who know and love her,” says PETA Director Martin Mersereau. “We hope that someone will find Copper so that she can be reunited with her family.”
