Video link: Help the Humane Society after their 150 dog Puppy Mill raid!
We were both horrified and ecstatic to hear the news about the Hawaiian Humane Society’s… raid on a Waimanalo Puppy Farm last night. We had seen all the stories on this farm on the news, and shared our pain with Shiba Inu Hawaii members/supporters who saw these puppies in a pet store.

The Hawaiian Humane Society is reporting that they just completed a raid on a Waimanalo puppy mill TODAY and have rescued over 150 dogs and puppies! They are in desperate need of supplies:
Wire kennels (please no plastic crates), stainless steel bowls, clean towels, and unopened/ unexpired dog food.…

1st Annual Hawaiian Classic Dog Show – March 26 & 27
The North American Kennel Club… is coming to Hawaii for the very first time for the 1st Annual Hawaiian Classic Dog Show! The President of the Club and 6 Judges (including International judges) will be coming down for the Event. It would be great to see a Shiba from our group compete!

Hip hip hooray! It’s another Puppy Social! Here’s the info:
When: Saturday, March 12 11am-12:30pm
Where: Hawaiian Humane Society Classroom
(room next to the Admissions desk)…
Owners should be advised that the classroom is regularly cleaned with bleach and is a safer environment for puppies who haven’t had all their shots.

Emi was first seen on our website as a puppy for sale…and she was lucky enough to go home with two great humans who have been waiting for a Shiba for a very long time! Emi attended her very first playdate last weekend and had a blast!…
