Shiba Inu Hawaii 2012 Calendar Announcement!
We’ve decided to fulfill a longtime goal of ours to make a Shiba Inu Hawaii Calendar for 2012 and we want you all to participate!
How does it work? We’re going to be pulling pictures that we’ve taken at any Shiba Inu Hawaii Event — this includes Playdates, Puppy Socials, our 1st Anniversary and any Shiba participation in local Pet Events (like Canine Game Day…).
What’s next for Shiba Inu Hawaii? We need your input!
As our one year anniversary approaches, we’ve been thinking a lot about the future of Shiba Inu Hawaii. We’re so happy… about what we’ve been able to accomplish, it’s much more than we ever expected! The turn out at our Events has just been fantastic; everyone is so friendly and has so much love for their Shibas!

We are so pleased and excited to announce that Shiba Inu Hawaii has been featured in this week’s Pet Parade section of MidWeek…! We submitted a photo of our most recent Meet Up at the Bark Park, along with a little bit of information on the Shiba Inu breed, and of course who can resist a pack of Shiba Inu posing so nicely?
How to find us at the Park…a.k.a. Your Guide to Understanding our Madness
Katsumi, Chris and I decided to go down to the Hawaiian Humane Society Dog Park today…and as Chris and I sat watching Katsumi run around like a maniac doing her Shiba 500s, we said to each other, “why don’t we ever see any other Shiba Inu in the park?” 45 minutes later, lo and behold our 2 Shiba Inu friends, Azuki & Katsu… show up with their human friend Shandra!

Work on the website, or work on the dog?
It’s very funny. I started this website so all Shiba Inu owners in Hawaii could have a “hub” to meet and discuss this wonderful breed, but I’m so dedicated to my own puppy, that I’m having trouble finding the time to work on the website! …
