Blazer
Blazer was born on October 21, 2010 and adopted on December 16, 2010. He is a caring, playful, and free spirited dog. Blazer enjoys sleeping, working for treats, playing with his sister Aiko, and chewing on anything he can get his paws on. Blazer also loves to play with his friends on puppy dates and at dog parks. Finally, he especially loves when his humans bake him homemade treats!

The Shibas were up bright and early on Saturday, January 28th to go hiking at Makapu’u Lighthouse! Parking was a bit nutty, we didn’t realize it was such a popular hike. Our January 2012 Playdate was held at Mililani Dog Park on January 15, 2012. We had 58 humans and 34 Shiba Inu! Wow, what a great way to start off the new year.

If you are a Punahou… Alumni, you may be very familiar with the Punahou Bulletin that comes out every once in awhile (quarterly?). The Punahou Bulletin updates everyone with little snippets of what your classmates have been up to. This edition we were lucky enough to get a mention, thanks to Desi Yamamoto (Niki’s classmate and a fan of Shiba Inu Hawaii) who asked a very important question: “How many people who come to your Shiba Playdates are Punahou Grads?” That very question inspired the below picture, which in turn became a shout out in the 2001 section of the Alumni Bulletin.
