Spotted: Shiba Inu Hawaii in the Punahou Bulletin!
If you are a Punahou… Alumni, you may be very familiar with the Punahou Bulletin that comes out every once in awhile (quarterly?). The Punahou Bulletin updates everyone with little snippets of what your classmates have been up to. This edition we were lucky enough to get a mention, thanks to Desi Yamamoto (Niki’s classmate and a fan of Shiba Inu Hawaii) who asked a very important question: “How many people who come to your Shiba Playdates are Punahou Grads?” That very question inspired the below picture, which in turn became a shout out in the 2001 section of the Alumni Bulletin.

Wow we had such a fun time at this hike and beach hangout! The Lanikai Pillbox was definitely tough for some of us beginner hikers, but the view was well worth it. Top it off with Shibas at the beach, a birthday ice cream cake and lunch for everyone, and you have a recipe for a great day! …

We had an awesome time at our October Shiba Inu Hawaii Playdate at Mililani Dog Park! A record number of Shiba Inu and their owners showed up…32 humans and 21 Shibas! There were so many new people to meet and talk to, that we didn’t get to take as many pictures as we wanted to but we did our best!
