Miki was born on October 29th 2009 and lives in Kaneohe with her family. She was bought at the Ko’olau Pet Store in Windward Mall at the age of six weeks. Miki is a charming, sweet dog, and loves people and cats. She’s currently working on loving dogs too.
The Shibas were up bright and early on Saturday, January 28th to go hiking at Makapu’u Lighthouse! Parking was a bit nutty, we didn’t realize it was such a popular hike. But that did not deter the Shibas! They marched on with smiles on their faces, excited to climb up and see the spectacular views!…
Happy Holidays, Shiba ‘Ohana!!!! The Shiba Holiday Brunch this past weekend was a great success! After setting down the human food and dog treats, the Shibas took advantage of the private dog park and ran like WILD ANIMALS. After that, Jacque from the Humane Society… was there to welcome us and thank us for our support–no Jacque, thank YOU!

It was like a “Red Shiba Convention!” Hime was the only Black and Tan present, but that didn’t seem to matter to the puppies.

Today’s Puppy Social was great! We hit a little snag at our arrival — we were double booked for the Humane Society Classroom. But luckily, the Humane Society has a great small dog park we used at our very first… Puppy Social so we relocated to that area.
