Our first ever Shiba Hike was led by the adventurous Kitsune and her humans on November 13, 2011. Shibas and their humans took a nice trek up Mariner’s Ridge to see the sights! After that we had a celebratory eating adventure at the Greek Marina….

At the last minute, the Humane Society Hike was cancelled, but that didn’t stop the Shibas! Thanks to some quick reconnaissance by Kitsune’s Mom, we found out the Hiking with Dogs Club …would still be attending, and we could tag along!

Here’s some pictures from yesterday’s hike …with Paws on the Path! There were like five thousand Beagles (not pictured) because the Beagle Club was there and we were a little jealous…but we know more Shiba Inu friends will come with us on the next hike, right?

Friendly dogs are welcome. Hikes are about three miles, are easy trails classified as beginner or novice, and typically take about two hours to complete.
Maunawili Golf Trail Hike Pictures!
Today we went on Paws on the Path’s Monthly Hike up Maunawili Golf Trail! We had a lot of fun, and in our opinion this hike was much easier than the last one we went on. No Shiba Inu friends this time, but we did have a pug friend, Maka, join us for a little while!…
