Woof woof! It’s another Puppy Social! Here’s the info:
When: Saturday, October 8, 10:30am-12:00pm
Where: Hawaiian Humane Society Small Dog Park…
Owners should be advised that the small dog park is a public dog park. We choose this park because it is a small space for our puppies to romp around with each other and other small dogs.

Unfortunately, the Humane Society Classroom that we usually use is closed for renovations. Owners should be advised that the small dog park is a public dog park.

When: Saturday, March 12 11am-12:30pm
Where: Hawaiian Humane Society Classroom
(room next to the Admissions desk)…
Owners should be advised that the classroom is regularly cleaned with bleach and is a safer environment for puppies who haven’t had all their shots.
Next Puppy Social: January 9
We’re excited to announce that we’ve been able to secure the Hawaiian Humane Society Classroom again for our Shiba Inu Hawaii Puppy Social! Here’s the info:
When: Sunday, January 9 11am-1:30pm
Where: Hawaiian Humane Society Classroom
(room next to the Admissions desk)
Use of the classroom does have a daily fee of $25, so we’re asking those who attend this puppy social — if you wouldn’t mind — to pitch in a couple dollars to cover the cost.…

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been able to secure a more secluded location for our next Puppy Social! The Hawaiian Humane Society has a Classroom available for use by animal-related groups like ours, and we’ve been able to fit into their schedule for a playdate! …

Shiba Inu Hawaii Playdate: TODAY, September 19th at Moanalua Dog Park
What: Shiba Inu Play Date
When: Sunday, September 19 at 4pm
Where: Moanalua Dog Park (see map below)
Who: All Shiba Inu, their Owners, Shiba Inu Enthusiasts, or if you just love the breed!
As always, please don’t forget the following guidelines:
-All dogs must be vaccinated and healthy (let’s keep our new friends safe and well!)
-If your dog is in heat, please leave her at home (but come anyway, and bring pictures!)
-Owners must be in full control over your dogs at all times
-Clean up after your dog (Don’t forget to bring your poop bags!)
Humane Society Hike: THIS Saturday, August 28th Likeke Trail
This Saturday, August 28, 2010 is next scheduled hike from the Humane Society’s hiking club, Paws on the Path. Here’s the information from the Humane Society’s website…:
Friendly dogs are welcome. Hikes are about three miles, are easy trails classified as beginner or novice, and typically take about two hours to complete.

Today we went on Paws on the Path’s Monthly Hike up Maunawili Golf Trail! We had a lot of fun, and in our opinion this hike was much easier than the last one we went on. No Shiba Inu friends this time, but we did have a pug friend, Maka, join us for a little while!…
